Jenn's New Walk (posted by Ronnie)

So it is Sunday night, and Marley and I are relaxing - just minding our own business(es). I make one innocent remark about how Jenn should discuss her new 'strut' in an upcoming blog and the next thing I know I am thrown the keys to the car and 'persuaded' against my will to write about what I noticed yesterday as Jenn and I walked along the RiverWalk in Milwaukee. The RiverWalk is quite the peaceful setting on a Saturday morning...it meanders along the river and under the streets, giving an up close and personal look at the city. We had a gift card to the Milwaukee Ale House, but I was bound and determined to re-visit a previous place of glory for me in this great city, John Hawkes Pub. A few years prior, Derek and Bre's wedding reception was held at this Pub and Jenn and I had a blast. The evening was capped with me being crowned the Indy500 champion along the river walk. Back to Jenn's strut - As we approached the pub I noticed Jenn's stride elongate, her upper torso lean back, and her hips push forward projecting an extra 2-4" in either direction (left, right, repeat...now double time) as her and baby navigated the walkway. This was truly a 'strut', and I had to say something. I said, "Wow, honey look at you go...you are struttin' your stuff". She, of course, was very pleased with my assessment of her walk and thanked me for noticing ;) The Jenn strut is truly a thing of beauty. We did not show off much of the strut today as the car was reading an outside temp of 98F at 2pm. However, all of you in the PacNW preparing for the upcoming baby showers...beware of the strut!
