Bellingham Baby Shower

Of the two days of sunshine we had while back in Washington, we were lucky that one of them was the day of the baby shower in Bellingham. My sister, Kim, had planned a brunch at 10:30 so that everyone could have their Saturday afternoon still available, and with the sunshine it was a good plan. Since this shower was my friends and family Ronnie headed out
with my Dad, his dad, my Grandpa, brother-in-law and 4 other guys to the driving range and then to Boundary Bay for lunch. Meanwhile, there were 30+ ladies having a great time visiting.

We had 4 pregnant ladies in attendance: Denise at 38 weeks, happy to say her water didn't break at the shower, Rachel at 30 weeks with twin girls, Lani at 22 weeks and myself at 26 weeks. Then you added to that the 3 infants under 6 months, all of whom behaved like perfect gentlemen, and we had a full house!!

As always, there never seems to be enough time to visit with everyone as much as I would have liked to, but it was SO amazing to see everyone there. It was a reminder of how many great friends my family and I have. Thank you all for such a wonderful time! The fun part was that there were so many people visiting that I went slightly hoarse trying to talk over everyone. Yes, that meant that people were enjoying being in the company of others around them, and I loved it!
