Welcome to My Blog

Well, this blog is long over due, but better late than never! My friend Breanne got me hooked on reading her blog during her pregnancy, and I thought it was a great way to keep many people updated on how things were going all at the same time. So while it’s late in coming, I thought I would start a blog to keep friends and family updated on how things are going.

As you must already know to be reading this, Ronnie and I are pregnant with our first child, due on September 12^th.

Ronnie and I have been married for over 7 years, it will be 8 this coming August. And have spent our first 7 years of marriage moving around the Mid-west. We are originally from Washington, but spent 5 years in Bloomington, IN then 2 years in Kansas City, KS and made our most recent move to the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL last June for Ronnie’s work.

All of those life changing decisions were nothing compared to the new adventure we are on, becoming parents. Just before my 30^th birthday we found out that we were expecting. What a great birthday present!
