Since Landon's One Month check up he has been a very busy boy! Grandma and Grandpa Yeager came to visit for a week, and Landon had the difficult job of being held and sang to, planning future tree houses, learning his ABC's & 123's and helping gravity keep them down for naps. It was a difficult job, but someone had to do it, and Landon succeeded!Lee did manage to get some time to hold Landon everyday,
though he sometimes had to remind Grandma that he hadn't held Landon yet and would she mind sharing. We gave her a hard time, but only in fun. After all, no one can play patty-cake like Grandma! Both agree that he was changing before their eyes, and had deffinatley put on the pounds since they had arrived.
We had beautiful weather, and since we are restricted on where we can go and what we can do until Landon is at least 8 weeks old we decided to drive up to Lake Geneva, WI to walk around the little lake town and see the changing fall colors.
It was a perfect fall day, and with the sun out it was just warm enough to be comfortable. We walked along the lake, got a festive fall themed coffee drink and ate lunch in the car on our way from Lake Geneva to Burlington, WI to go to the Brightonwood Apple Orchard. We sampled apple and other fruit wines at their winery on site, and then meandered through the store with bins of more than 30 varieties of apples. We bought a bag of assorted apples that we picked out to make an apple crisp, and by the end of the day we had appled ourselves out!
