I have had two weekly appointments for my 36th & 37th weeks...no change in that one week time. Now I am considered term at 37 weeks, and if Landon decides he's ready to meet us they would not stop labor from happening. So as I sit here we have 20 days until my official due date, and I am starting to get to that slightly uncomfortable stage of pregnancy. I can't complain too much, since I really do feel good for the most part. But my belly is feeling heavy and my arches hurt in my feet.
The worst part is probably how tight my skin feels on my belly. Anything that I bump into reminds me how sensitive my skin is, and usually sends me saying "Oh S#@T" and I rub my belly trying to get rid of the pain.
The best part about this week is that my Dad flew in for a quick visit on Saturday afternoon and will be here until Wednesday morning. (Mom says I can't go into labor while he's here, that Landon has to wait until Dad comes back home so they can fly out together) Last night Dad and Ronnie cooked as I sat with my feet up enjoying a glass of Pellegrino with lime. They fixed scallops as an appetizer, and then we had grilled salmon, red potatoes, grilled corn and salad. It was fantastic!
I now have to get the recipe for Dad for tonight's meal...a grilled steak salad. Yum!
